Every Siamese deserves a soft landing.

Making a difference in the lives of Meezers, one cat at a time. Sargent's Siamese Angels rescues, nurtures, and finds forever homes for Siamese cats around Ohio.

Meet the cats Support the rescue

Started in Fremont, for cats who needed somewhere to go.

Sargent's Siamese Angels Cat Rescue & Sanctuary began with one simple problem: there was nowhere for surrendered and stray Siamese cats to land. Shelters are full, and Siamese cats — vocal, particular, sometimes older or harder to place — often waited longest.

We take them in, get them the vet care they need, and care for them at our adoption center and sanctuary until they're ready to be matched with a family who understands what makes a Siamese a Siamese.

Run by Kelly out of Fremont, Ohio, Sargent's Siamese Angels, Inc. serves Siamese cats from around the state. Every cat is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and health-checked before going up for adoption.

Sargent's Siamese Angels is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Gifts are tax-deductible.

Before you apply, please understand:

You must be 18 years of age or older.
All pets in your home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
All cats (including the newly adopted cat) must live INDOORS ONLY. Cats that walk on leashes, go outside with supervision, or use a catio/enclosure are acceptable.
You will be required to sign an adoption contract.
Applications are reviewed and vet references are checked — same-day adoptions are not available.
Only approved adopters may visit our adoption facility/sanctuary. It is not open to the public without an appointment, since it is attached to our private occupied residence.

Yes No

How would you handle behavior situations that may arise — for instance, pet vs. pet aggression, pet vs. human aggression, litterbox avoidance, or clawing furniture/carpet/drapes?

Please understand: Our standard adoption fee is $250. This covers initial veterinary visits and testing for FeLV/FIV, initial vaccinations, spay/neuter, and preventative parasite treatment for every cat, plus diagnosis or treatment for any suspected condition noticed in individual cats. Fees may be decreased at the director's discretion for cats with specific health issues, or when adopting multiple cats.

We ask these questions so we can match the most suitable cat with your home and lifestyle. We understand things don't always work out, and we never judge — we always welcome cats back to our program. Our adoption contract states that if it's in the best interest of the cat or family to rehome the cat, it will be surrendered back to Sargent's Siamese Angels.

We vet every cat we place, though some come from high-stress situations like abuse, hoarding, or life as a stray with no prior veterinary care — underlying health issues can exist even when nothing is visibly present. Veterinary records are provided with each adoption; after that, follow-up checkups, vaccinations, and any ongoing medication or prescription food become the new owner's responsibility. We reserve the right to deny any adoption for any reason.

I meet the requirements listed at the top of this application, and I understand and agree to the adoption fee and policies described above.* I understand that adoption includes a visit to the adoption center/sanctuary, or a FaceTime call, before a cat goes home with me.*

Required fields are marked *. Kelly will follow up by phone once your application is received.

Every Angel needs help before they're ready.
